It was starting normally but the engine had major mechanical problems so I have rebuilt it and put it back in without touching any electrical part. First time you hit 12mph after you first start the car the ABS will self test (same time as the seat belt alarm goes off).It is quite common this will be accompanied by a noticeable clunk and sometimes a rather scary grinding noise. Hi I have a 2013 Ford Focus 1.6 TDCi titanium and I have the following problem: I am after oil change. Hi All, I have a bit of a problem with my 2005 Mk2 1.6 tdci Focus. It has no DPF, so any problems with that can be discounted. The problems began last winter, when the car would occasionally start up in limp mode on cold mornings. Normally, this was solved by shutting off q7v2TM.
